I just bought tickets to visit Copenhagen in December, just before Christmas. I am so excited, I am thinking what was it like to visit Copenhagen in Summer, here is a few thoughts from my memories.

In an early summer 2015, after few hours of my high school history exam, I had a flight to Sweden waiting for me. Although, I was going to visit Denmark, not Sweden. But sometimes you need to play with the flight prices, haha.

I wanted to see two sides of Denmark – the most popular tourist places, and something more authentic – how people live a bit further from central Copenhagen.

The nature in Denmark made me feel calm. When you just sitting in the middle of nowhere, in a different country, without having a clue, how to say something in their language, you are just simply relaxed.

I have visited some of the tourist attractions as well. Because it was an early summer – June, 2015. It was not as crowded as it usually can be. Of course, there were still a few buses with tourists from China, taking pictures of everything and with everything. But I have managed to squeeze in πŸ™‚

I have even tried to drive in central Copenhagen haha πŸ™‚ Of course, I was keeping an eye on my GPS all the time πŸ™‚ The drivers are really nice there! If there is a traffic, people are trying to be organised as possible, giving the way to other cars, being polite on a road all the time. That was impressing for me, especially as a new driver at that time. I think I had my license only for a few months by then. πŸ™‚

As a must in Scandinavia, I went for fishing πŸ™‚

The trip was quite short, but lovely at the same time. I am coming back this December just before Christmas for a few days and I will let you know all about it when I will get there!
